Gardens of Bliss Candle Co. produces small batch candles with aesthetic and olfactory themes inspired by the Islamic tradition. The company was founded by a Muslim mother of two in the Hudson Valley region of New York in June 2023. These hand crafted artisanal candles were conceived when the founder was on the hunt for intentional Islamic candles to gift her family and friends. Unable to find something, she decided to create her own. For her, researching the scripture for inspiration, developing the scent profile to match the religious themes, listening to the recitation of the Quran whilst making them and ultimately writing the paradisal descriptions have been a valuable labour of faith. With several fragrance oils in production, the mission of this candle company is to promote a state of mind that brings its customers closer to their Creator.
